of the seminar Internet and Youth integration in the Euromediterranean
area
Wednesday 1 of October:
Arrival and installation in the place. Possibility
to assist to a regional circular meeting about Insertion of Youth and
Internet that will takes place in the municipal 's files place of the
city of Marseille.
Around 16h00 we will meet in order to begin the preparation of the presentation
of the youth insertion projects trough use of multimedia. At the end
of the afternoon there will be a presentation of the objectives, contents
of the seminar as well as a presentation of the participants.
Thursday 2 of october:
A. Presentation of the organizations and practices: 9h00-10h15
This space will make a presentation of the working
profiles of the organizations. We will try to understand what joins
us together, the presentation will be dividid in two times. A first
part that will present the results of the inscription questionnaire's
analysis, showing our public and practice specificity's, our aims and
problems, and to point the various networks to whiches we pertain.
The second part will be participative because each person will have
to explain his objectives as an association's representing and his own
personal motivations to be present in this seminar.
B. "Youth Insertion in Europe and Mediterranean
area: what are we talking about?": 10h30-12h15
This workshop doesn't have the objective of building
together definitive definitions of what we interpret as "insertion".
We will try to build together "ideal types" of insertion that can be
found in action in different contexts. We will try to identify elements
of reflexion for analyzing the properties of a dynamic of insertion.
In the second part of the workshop we will try to understand if there's
moments and spaces that can dinamize the activities of insertion crossing
them with multimedia practices. In this way we will look in which manners
some social insertion indicator's can be improved by the use of TIC.
The global aim is to entitle the participants to built their own perspectives
and to intuit the best manners to make use of TIC in their own activities.
C. Youth insertion with multimedia practices: presentation
of some experiences: 14h00-16h15 Followed by: "New(s) perspectives:
around the multimedia and youth insertion": 16h15-19h30
In this activity we will talk about concrete examples so we can feed
our reflexion with them. If all the present associations work with youth
public's they don't all uses the TIC in the same way. We will talk about
nearby experiences, so because they have been realized by the organization's
structures, or by associations inscribed in our networks, or by one
of the association's present in the seminar.
We will talk about past and present experiences that will help us to
understand better the richness and diversity in this field of action
in the civil society and inside the social movements.

Friday 3 of october:
D. Workshop n°3: Formation to the distance
working tools: 9h00-10h00
Formation about basic modalities of the tools:
SPIP, Weblog, ICQ, Chat, Espace-Métis.
E. Youth program, presentation of the disposition
and some experiences around: 10h30-12h00
Brief presentation of the European Commission Structure
for Youth actions, which action field's, which collaborations, which
possibilities?
F. "Confrontation about our experiences in
project's construction": 14h00-16h00
Followed by: identification of
possible projects 16h15-19h30 and
Work group's constitution: 20h30
"Which are our experiences in relation with the
construction of projects?", this question should allowed us to think
about our work's practices and the maneuver's margins that's possess
our associations to concrete projects. In the same way it will make
us think about the relations we have with our financial suppliers. We
will also talk about what we consider as success action's, failures,
abandons and social innovation's projects. The final objective is to
begin with the works groups. This groups can work in a perspective of
a laboratory of ideas and new projects, continue and diversificate existing
projects, or share reflexions around a common thematic.
Saturday 4th of october:
G. Work's groups: Elaboration of propositions
of collaboration and formation to tools for distance working (2nd part):
9h00-12h00
We will be divided in two groups, one will be in
the computer's room from 9h00 to 10h15, the other one from 10h30 to
12h00.
H. Public Debate: 14h00-16h30
Divina Frau-Meijs, Serge Pouts-Lajus y Patrice
Riemmens will be the persons that will give us the pleasure to talk
to us about their searches and to feed a debate around this thematic:
"From knowledge acquisition to citizenship speech: which actors, which
methods, which networks?". Nicolas Weinberg will moderate this debate.
I. General Assembly: Which tools, which organizations
for working together?: 20h30
Followed by, Elaboration of propositions: 21h30
Return in group around the debate in the first
time, followed by the group's works creation and projects. We will also
think about the manners that we use the TIC in our own works and how
can we improve the electronic mediation tools. For finishing we will
identify the groups that aim to still work together at distance.
Sunday 5 of october:
J. Synthesis and perspectives: necessities and
cooperation's inside an Europe mediterranean network: 9h00-11h00
Followed by the Evaluation: 11h00
This synthesis will take place in two times, with
those meetings and with the fulfill by every participant of a evaluation
circular.
Remarks:We will have at our disposition
an informatic room with internet connection. This room can be utilized
at any moment by the participants and preferably at the end of the day.
In this perspective if any participant would like to show or form the
others about a technic tool or a web site she/he is cordially invited
to do so and to communicate it by the "wall journal" that will be preview
for that.
